In 2011 the following 33 Rioja wineries exhibited at Rioja Tapas Fantasticas, offering visitors the opportunity to sample a wide variety of different styles of Rioja wine.
Barón de Ley
Barón de Ley is a bodega created by a small group of Rioja wine experts. The wine they produce reflects the unique characteristics and personality of the terroir. Barón de Ley specialises in the production of Reserva and Gran Reserva wines, and has earned itself a deserved place among the international winemaking elite.
Bodegas Berberana
Founded in 1877, this Bodega in the Rioja Alta is now a modern winery with ageing facilities housing over 50,000 barrels and producing a range of wines of consistently high quality in both traditional and modern styles.
Bodegas Beronia
Nestled in the foothills of Mendiguerra in the heart of Rioja Alta, Beronia is known for its range of classic and single varietal Riojas, all made with the greatest of respect for the environment. Winemaker Matias Calleja creates a highly distinctive style of Rioja, characterised by intensely fresh fruit and softly integrated oak.
Bodegas Navajas
Antonio Navajas and his family create an array of fine Riojas combining tradition and modernity at their Rioja Alta-based winery. Bodegas Navajas works with a very loyal and select number of high quality growers, and the wines are considered a benchmark of balance and finesse.
Bodegas Paternina
Founded in 1896, Bodegas Paternina is located in the heart of the Rioja Alta region. Producing a range of styles from the well-known Banda Azul Crianza, but they also produce a wide range of other styles from attractive young wines like Banda Dorada and Rosado, through to a mellow Gran Reserva.
Bodegas Valdemar
Family-owned Bodegas Valdemar is one of the few producers in Rioja who own all of their own vineyards across the three sub-regions, ensuring only the highest quality of grapes are used in the wines. The winery pursues a philosophy of quality and innovation, resulting in a distinctive modern style, combining attractive fruit combined with typical Rioja complexity, and for the Reservas, great structure and ageing potential

Campo Viejo is made at the Campo Viejo Bodega, one of Europe's leading wineries, whose state of the art technology is driving the benchmark in the whole Rioja region while its resources guarantee the maximum quality of the wines.
Castillo de Sajazarra
Covila
Bodegas Covila was established in 1989 by a group of 60 grape growers around the town of Lapuebla de Labarca in the Alavesa region of Rioja. Their aim was to improve the quality and consistency of the wine in the area, and in working together they were able to create an impressive purpose built winery equipped with modern machinery. They now look after 250 hectares of vines with an average age of 25 years, producing modern reds whites and rosés that are packed with flavour and made to offer excellent short- to mid-term drinking.
CVNE
C.V.N.E., or to give it its full name, Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (The Northern Spanish Wine Company) was established in 1879 in Haro, Rioja. C.V.N.E. is still controlled by the direct descendants of the founding family, and farms half of its grape crush, with the remainder purchased from long term growers in Rioja.

Domeco de Jarauta
With a history of vine-growing dating back generations, Domeco de Jarauta is based around the town of Aldeanueva in Rioja Baja. The winery itself was set up in 2005 (previously grapes had been sold to the local cooperative), and enthusiastic winemaker Luis Luna produces a range of wines from young unoaked Joven through to a Crianza and Reserva, with ageing taking place in French and American oak.
Don Jacobo
Family-owned Bodegas Corral is a traditional and exclusively Riojan winery founded in 1898, committed to the production of exceptionally high quality wines, with limited production and dedication to careful selection of the best quality grapes.
El Coto de Rioja
Although El Coto is a relatively young Bodega, founded in 1970, it is already one of the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin (D.O.Ca) leaders. El Coto is served on some of the world’s best wine lists, and will be bringing its range of reds, whites and rosés to Rioja Tapas Fantasticas.

Rioja Gran Familia comes from Bodegas Castillo de Fuenmayor, located near Briones at the heart of Rioja Alta. This winery belongs to a family with one of the longest traditions in Rioja winemaking and its winemaker has access to some of the finest wines in Rioja. Gran Familia is a modern style Rioja, with the emphasis on fruit rather than oak.
Grupo Faustino
With 758 hectares of its own vineyards, Grupo Faustino is virtually self-sufficient in producing all its Gran Reserva and Reserva wines. Its vineyards are located in the upper part of Rioja Alavesa, and enjoy the best geographical and climatic conditions needed to produce the highest quality wines.

Marqués de Cáceres
Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres was founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner, a prime mover in bringing Rioja into the modern world, bringing with him expertise acquired in Bordeaux's prestigious Haut-Médoc region. The winery is known for a range of wines which show rich concentration and intense fruit and aromas, and will be showing a range of reds, whites, and rosés.
Marqués de la Concordia
Marqués de la Concordia is one of the most exciting new development projects in Rioja and brings together the best of both the New and Old World - New World style and Old World Terroir. The result is a small but exciting range of new Rioja wines made with an extreme approach to viticulture and winemaking.
Marqués del Atrio
Based in the Riojan area of Arnedo, the Rivero family have been actively involved in making wine for four generations. They set up the Marqués del Atrio winery in 2003, and will be showing a white and a rosé Rioja, along with a range of reds.
Marqués de Murrieta
Established in 1852, Murrieta is one of the oldest and most respected bodegas of Rioja, producing wines made in a "classic" Rioja style, and receiving long ageing in barrel before release. Their wines are concentrated and long-lived, both red and white, and some - like the Gran Reserva "Castillo Ygay" - have become legendary amongst Rioja-lovers.
Martinez Laorden
Jose Maria Martinez makes only Joven and Crianza wines from his family’s old vineyards (40 to 80 year old vines). His winery is the first bioclimatic winery in Europe and the style of wines reflect his family’s pioneering, modern approach.

Bodegas Ondarre is based in Viana 6km from Logrono. It prides itself on keeping alive the traditions of the area combined with a modern philosophy. It specialises in making Reserva wines.

Solar Viejo
Solar Viejo, situated in Rioja Alavesa in the northern part of La Rioja close to the medieval village of Laguardia, was founded in 1937. Solar Viejo is named after the "Casas Solariegas", ancestral homes or family seats that are typical in Laguardia. For generations the winery has had a strong relationship, based on life-long collaboration, with local vine growers, ensuring that the grapes are of the best quality.

Established in 1901, Bodegas Bilbaínas is one of the oldest estates in Rioja, producing a range of premium Tempranillo-based wines from classic styles such as Viña Pomal (which has recently celebrated its centenary) to the more contemprary La Vicalanda and Zaco. The majority of wines are produced from estate grown fruit and the average age of vines is 20 years.
Viña Salceda
Viña Salceda was established in 1969 with the goal of producing red wines of the highest quality. The winery is situated in Elciego, one of the pillars of Rioja Alavesa, internationally renowned for the winemaking prestige it has earned over the centuries. The area benefits from a perfect microclimate for wine production, and winemaking takes place in a modern winery where the wines are aged in French or American oak.
