Wines from Rioja Masterclass at London Wine Fair
Wines from Rioja will be shining a light on the rise of Spanish gastronomy at the upcoming London Wine Fair with an industry briefing centred on the global tapas trend, hosted by a Michelin star chef, as well as representatives from the highly acclaimed Basque Culinary Centre.
The briefing is open to all members of the UK wine trade. Seating will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis, so please turn up early to avoid disappointment.

Hosted by Marcos Morán; Michelin-star chef, and gastronomic director at Hispania, with Izaskun Zurbitu; Basque Culinary Centre
Wines from Rioja and the Basque Culinary Center, Faculty of Gastronomic Science, will explore the origins of tapas, and key elements in recreating the Spanish tapas experience worldwide. We will explore how the tapas trend exploded onto the global scene, and how restaurateurs and wine professionals can capitalise on this success in their own outlets. The presentation will cover the key elements of a tapas bar, the role of wine, and different approaches to tapas on a global level. Two Michelin star Spanish chef Marcos Moran will share his experience gained in Spain and at his London venue, as well as his passion for tapas and wine.
