Bristol Foodies Festival - 26th - 28th June 

 

We spent the weekend sipping delicious Rioja wine and enjoying some authentic Spanish tapas in the British sunshine at the Bristol Foodies festival on 26th - 28th June. Consumers experienced the real taste of Spain with samples from the best wine Rioja has to offer along with Spanish snacks from the famous London jamón bodega Bar Tozino.

 

If that's not all, wine expert Susy Atkins was on hand to share all her Rioja wine and food matching knowledge at our special Rioja masterclasses too. 

 

 

Susy Atkins is a wine writer, educator and TV presenter, well known for her lively and informal style. She is the weekly wine columnist for The Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine, and a regular wine expert on BBC1's flagship cookery show Saturday Kitchen. Susy is drinks editor for Delicious magazine and has published several down-to-earth books on wine and drinks, including the best-selling, humorous Girls' Guide to Wine.

Susy won the International Wine & Spirit Competition's prestigious 'Communicator of the Year' award in 2004, and in 2014 she won at the Champagne Louis Roederer International Wine Writers' Awards for her writing.
