WINES FROM RIOJA PARTNERS WITH LONDON RESTAURANT FESTIVAL 2011

Wines from Rioja has linked up with this year’s London Restaurant Festival as official wine partner to sample Rioja wines to thousands of consumers and on-trade influencers throughout the event.  The partnership was announced at the official launch party which was held at the Ivy on 11^th May which was attended by restaurateurs and members of the trade.   Now in its third year, the Festival will run from 3^rd – 17^th October and Wines from Rioja will be served at all official events, including the London Restaurant Festival Awards which will be held on 17^th October. 

Some of London’s top restaurants are participating in the festival and will be offering affordable menus to the capital’s gourmet consumers.  Over the two week festival, Wines from Rioja will be served at a number of official festival events including ‘The Big Quiz’, and the London Restaurant Festival Debate; an event that has been hosted by high profile food and drink experts including AA Gill and Janet Street Porter in previous years.  Wines from Rioja will also be serving its wines at the Festival awards to celebrate the success of the festival and champion the best menus and venues as voted by the public.   It will also be taking part in a new Spanish restaurant activity this year and will be working with restaurants to create Rioja and tapas matched menus - further details to be announced in the coming months.
