Edinburgh Foodies Festival

Edinburgh Foodies Festival - 7th - 9th August


It was another very successful festival as we soaked up the glorious sunshine and sipped some delicious Rioja wine at this years Edinburgh Foodies Festival from 7th - 9th August. Yet again, consumers were able to enjoy a great spread of wines and Spanish snacks from famous London jamón bodega Bar Tozino.


BBC Saturday Kitchen and Daily Telegraph wine expert Susy Atkins was also on hand to share all her expertise on Spains flagship region and some lovely food and wine matches too in her Rioja masterclass. 


Susy Atkins is a wine writer, educator and TV presenter, well known for her lively and informal style. She is the weekly wine columnist for The Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine, and a regular wine expert on BBC1's flagship cookery show Saturday Kitchen. Susy is drinks editor for Delicious magazine and has published several down-to-earth books on wine and drinks, including the best-selling, humorous Girls' Guide to Wine.

Susy won the International Wine & Spirit Competition's prestigious 'Communicator of the Year' award in 2004, and in 2014 she won at the Champagne Louis Roederer International Wine Writers' Awards for her writing.
