And Shakespeare Met Don Quixote

And Shakespeare Met Don Quixote book launch

On Tuesday June 7th, we collaborated with the Instituto Cervantes in London to host the UK launch of the book ‘And Shakespeare read Don Quixote’ written by José Enrique Gil-Delgado Crespo, writer and philologist from Madrid. The book’s publication coincides with the 400th anniversary of the death of both Cervantes and Shakespeare, who were contemporaries.

The evening was attended by His Excellency the Spanish Ambassador Federico Trillo Figueroa, who introduced the context and historical backdrop for the book, which imagines a meeting between these two great literary geniuses.

Following the presentation of the novel, Rioja wine and tapas from Bar Tozino was served to attendees.
