Imbibe Live - 2016

Imbibe Live 2016 - Highlights 

On the 4th and 5th of July, Wines from Rioja hosted a stand at Imbibe Live, the largest on-trade exhibition in Europe. The two day event attracts top sommeliers, buyers, journalists and bartenders who come to taste an exciting collection of wines and other drinks; listen to informative talks from industry leaders and connect with other members of the vibrant UK on-trade.

The Wines from Rioja stand presented the winning wines from a series of wine and food matching tastings held in the early part of 2016. Working with sommeliers from restaurants specialising in Indian, Pan Asian, British and American foods, our expert panellists selected Rioja wines to match with specific dishes which reflected the flavour profiles of these cuisines. The winning pairings can be seen below and will hopefully provide inspiration for more daring Rioja and food pairings!
